Lone survivor - great book

I know it has only been one week but I am about half way through the book and I should be done but run into a couple of tungsten that prevented me from doing so.  This book brings back.many memories for me of my military service and many of the same opinions I have about war and how the news and politicians. I have found my self say horaah in the middle of the books and wanting to go jump in the water and start.   The saying so far j have lo ed is go he wet and sandy.  This reminds me of a couple of my Sargent's and it made me smile.  Oh how much I love the service men of this country.  I have been surprised at how well this book is writing since this is a first hand account and really brings the book alive for me.  Thank you Lindz for recommending this book it is awesome.

  1. Not quite as far as you, but so far I am liking it. It is sometimes hard to get through all the military language but I love the fond ways he has of talking about the past even though it can be hard.

  2. Great book. I'm amazed and grateful for such brave men (and others) who defend the freedoms I enjoy. I'm truly amazed by their endurance and bravery the fight.

  3. Wow what a great book. Those men are so brave and wow I don't think I could make it through all that training. I felt so bad for them. I am so glad that are defending our freedoms.
